A Saturday social GC morning between Marrickville Croquet Club and Manly Croquet Club.
At the Nelson Bay Christmas Bush Bash last year, a chance Doubles pairing of Vin (Manly) and Clyth (Marrickville) brought two like-minded individuals together and got them planning an inter-club social day. Last Saturday, 11 members of both clubs came together at Manly CC, drew their doubles partners from a hat (bowl) and fun games ensued with colourfully clad participants. Thanks to those who contributed refreshments, fruit and fabulous cakes for morning tea.
It was a great way to meet players from other clubs, and we hope to arrange more occasions like this in future.
